An elderly couple were both killed on the same day following a chain collision along the Seremban–Port Dickson Highway (SPDH) while making their way towards Seremban.
According to China Press, they were identified as 65-year-old Shi Wenqiang and 66-year-old Yang Fengting (both transliteration).
Got into accident with three other cars
Berita Harian reported that the crash took place at Kilometer 11.5 of SPDH heading towards Seremban at around 8.50pm yesterday (Oct 28).
A spokesperson for the Negeri Sembilan Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) said the accident involved a Nissan van, a Toyota Wish car, a Proton Perdana sedan, and a Honda ADV350 motorcycle.
“We received a report at 8.52pm regarding the incident and a team from the Port Dickson Fire and Rescue Station was dispatched to the location.
“Upon arrival, it was discovered that the elderly couple, who were riding the motorcycle, were pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
“Their bodies were later handed over to the police for further action.”
Meanwhile, a male Indonesian national in his 20s who was in the Toyota Wish sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment, while the drivers of the Proton Perdana and Nissan van were unharmed.
