Coldplay’s debut concert in Malaysia was more than just a musical extravaganza; it turned into a celeb-spotting fest for one lucky fan.
Picture this: 75,000 fans packed into Stadium Bukit Jalil, KL, each vibing to the tunes of the British band.
Among this sea of music enthusiasts was Wan, a Malaysian Coldplay fan, who got more than he bargained for.
In a twist straight out of a fan fiction, Wan found himself just a few rows ahead of none other than Malaysia’s former Health Minister, KJ (Khairy Jamaluddin).
Wan, seizing the moment, did what any of us would do: whipped out his phone and captured this surreal experience.

Singing together
He took to TikTok, sharing clips of him, KJ, and others around them passionately singing along to “A Sky Full of Stars”.
Speaking to WeirdKaya, he mentioned that he was in the VIP seat and only realized that KJ was behind him when the concert was about 30 minutes from ending.
“I don’t expect the videos to go viral, it’s just for fun. I went the concert for music, experience the atmosphere.”
It was a scene straight out of a feel-good movie: fans, united by music, with the rain doing little to dampen their spirits.
