A woman was left bewildered after receiving a parking ticket for her car, which she claims was parked within her home compound at the time of the alleged violation.
The netizen shared her experience on Xiaohongshu yesterday, posting an image of the ticket issued for her silver Perodua Myvi.
Had not moved her car at that time
According to the fine, her vehicle was cited for failing to pay parking fees at Batu Gajah on Monday (March 21) at 9:03 AM.
However, CCTV footage from her home indicated that her car had not moved from her residence at that time.
Either someone is stealing my car plate, or the abang wrote the wrong number.” She wrote in the caption.

Live very far from Batu Gajah
Speaking to Sin Chew Daily today, she explained that she discovered the ticket while attempting to pay a separate fine for another vehicle via the Park@Perak mobile application.
To her surprise, she found that her Myvi had also been fined.
I live in Taman Chee Ling, Ipoh, which is quite far from Batu Gajah. Furthermore, at the time stated on the ticket, I had not left home, and my car was parked within my residence. I have no idea why I was issued a parking fine,” she said.
She has since submitted a formal complaint to the Ipoh City Council but has yet to receive a response. As of now, the fine remains active in the application, leaving her uncertain about how to proceed.
