A horrifying clip showing a young boy being viciously attacked by a dog has recently surfaced online, stunning netizens.
Police are now probing the incident to track down the dog’s owner and take the necessary action.

In the clip shared on Threads, it showed the boy having his head being bitten by the black dog while struggling to break free from its jaws.
The dog only relented and fled from the scene when an adult man took up a long stick in an attempt to scare it off.

Following the attack, the boy’s head was left with multiple deep lacerations and was bleeding profusely.
According to the post’s caption, the boy was playing outside his home in Taman Megah, Cheras, prior to the attack. The dog is believed to have an owner as it had a collar on it.

Boy in a stable condition
Kajang District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof said they received a report regarding the incident from the boy’s older brother at 11.41pm yesterday (Sept 3).
He added the boy is now in the Children’s Ward at Kajang Hospital and is in stable condition, reported Harian Metro.
“Following the incident, enforcement officers from the Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj) came to the scene after receiving complaints from residents and the dog has since been caught for further action.

“Its status is still under investigation as we need to determine whether it is a registered pet or not,” he said.
The case is being investigated under Section 289 of the Penal Code and Section 41(1) of the Animals Act 1953.
