If you thought laptops couldn’t get any thinner, lighter, or more powerful, MSI just showed up at CES 2026 to prove you wrong.
At this year’s tech showcase, MSI unveiled a massive refresh across its entire laptop ecosystem, from a completely redesigned Prestige series for professionals, to next-gen gaming beasts under the Raider, Stealth, and Crosshair lines, plus a new icy-blue version of its Claw handheld.
Everything runs on the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics, signalling MSI’s biggest performance leap yet.

A Prestige Makeover For Modern Professionals
Leading the charge is the all-new Prestige series, rebuilt from the ground up for business users who want power and polish.
The new design language ditches sharp edges for smoother curves, slimmer profiles, and full aluminium construction, making these laptops look as premium as they feel.
According to MSI executives, the redesign isn’t just cosmetic. It’s about giving professionals better control, smarter workflows, and portability that actually fits modern work life.

Prestige 14 & 16: Lighter, Faster, Longer-Lasting
The new Prestige 14 and Prestige 16 are thinner and significantly lighter than before.
- Prestige 14 now weighs just 1.32kg, a 22% reduction
- Prestige 16 stays impressively light at 1.59kg
Despite the slim build, they pack serious endurance. An 81Wh battery delivers up to 30+ hours of 1080p video playback, meaning you can realistically go multiple days without charging.
Performance-wise, the laptops run Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with Intel Arc B390 graphics, strong enough for content creation and even AAA gaming on the go. MSI’s vapour chamber cooling keeps noise below 30 dBA, so meetings stay quiet.
The display is no slouch either. Users get a 2.8K 120Hz OLED panel with VRR and DisplayHDR True Black 1000 for ultra-smooth, colour-accurate visuals.

Prestige Flip: The 2-in-1 That Actually Makes Sense
For those who want flexibility, the Prestige 14 Flip and 16 Flip bring the same power into a 2-in-1 form factor with touch and stylus support.
They come bundled with MSI’s Nano Pen, which stores neatly inside the laptop and charges while docked. Just 15 seconds of charging gives up to 45 minutes of use.
There’s also a Copilot press-to-talk feature baked in, letting users trigger voice input instantly for AI-assisted workflows.
Another standout is the new Action Touchpad, which is 53% larger and supports custom gesture zones for quick shortcuts.
Security is enterprise-grade too, with TPM 2.0, fingerprint and facial recognition, and presence-based auto-lock.
Prestige 13 AI+: Under 900g And Still A Beast
Then there’s the Prestige 13 AI+, which now weighs just 899 grams, officially making it the lightest 13-inch magnesium-aluminium laptop in the world.
Despite the featherweight design, it runs Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and packs full enterprise security, perfect for professionals who live out of a backpack.
Modern S Series: Premium Feel Without The Premium Price

MSI also debuted the Modern 14S and 16S, bringing a more premium metal-heavy design to everyday users.
They feature:
- Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors
- Dual memory slots for easy upgrades
- A full I/O lineup including USB-A, USB-C, HDMI, RJ-45 LAN, and microSD
At just 11.1mm thin and as light as 1.3kg, these laptops are clearly built for mobility-first users.
Raider 16 Max HX: The Most Powerful Gaming Laptop MSI Has Ever Made

On the gaming side, MSI went absolutely wild.
The Raider 16 Max HX is the world’s first gaming laptop capable of delivering 300W total system power.
It pushes:
- 175W to RTX 5090 or 5080 GPUs
- 125W to Intel Core Ultra 200HX CPUs
To keep things cool, MSI introduced a new Cooler Boost Trinity with Intra Flow system, featuring three fans, six heat pipes, and phase-change thermal compound.
Gamers also get easy upgrades via a quick-access bottom panel, plus DDR5 memory and PCIe Gen5 SSD support.
The display? A 2.5K 240Hz OLED panel with DisplayHDR True Black 1000—perfect for both esports and creative work.
Stealth 16 AI+: CES Award Winner For A Reason

The Stealth 16 AI+ stole the spotlight by winning the CES Innovation Award in Computer Hardware & Components.
At just 16.6mm thin and under 2kg, it balances portability and power better than most gaming laptops on the market. MSI managed to push up to 20W more power to RTX 50 series GPUs thanks to upgraded cooling.
Connectivity remains generous too, with Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, USB-A ports, and RJ-45 LAN—all in a sleek, full-aluminium chassis.
Crosshair Series: Louder Looks, Bigger Power
The new Crosshair 16 Max HX and 16 HX bring bold aesthetics and brute performance.
They deliver up to 200W total system power, a 30W jump over the previous generation, paired with optional QHD+ 165Hz OLED displays.
The refreshed I/O layout moves HDMI and LAN ports to the back for cleaner desk setups, while a 24-zone RGB keyboard lets gamers flex their style.
Claw 8 AI+ Glacier Blue: Cold Looks, Hot Performance

Last but not least, MSI introduced the Claw 8 AI+ Glacier Blue Edition.
It keeps the same flagship specs but adds a striking Glacier Blue finish with layered icy tones across the curved body. Powered by Intel Core Ultra 200V processors with Arc Xe2 graphics, it delivers top-tier handheld gaming—just with way more visual flair.
When Can You Buy Them?
The all-new Prestige series opens for pre-orders on January 6, 2026, with official sales starting January 27, 2026.
All newly announced products are currently on display at MSI’s CES booth in The Venetian, with partners and media invited to experience them firsthand.

MSI didn’t just refresh its lineup at CES 2026. It redefined what laptops can look like, feel like, and do.
Whether you’re a business professional, creator, hardcore gamer, or handheld fan, there’s clearly something here with your name on it.
