A woman took to social media to share a terrifying incident where an angry motorcyclist threw a rock right towards her car and damaged the windows.
It has since drawn widespread outrage and condemnation from netizens, who demanded the motorcyclist be severely punished for his reckless behaviour.
Got honked at while entering car lane
In a Threads post by the OP, she wrote that the incident occurred along the Pasir Gudang Highway, Johor.
As she was making her into one of the car lanes after passing the Bukit Indah Toll Plaza and had turned on the signal lights to alert other drivers, the motorcyclist suddenly sped up from behind.
His motorcycle came speeding by and he began started honking while becoming aggressive and showing the middle finger.
“He then he hit the side mirror on the right and I chased after him in order to get his number plate,” she wrote.
Had rock thrown at her
As the chase continued, the motorcyclist picked up a rock near a tunnel and went after the OP’s car, where she claimed he tried to throw it towards the passenger seat but failed as the car sped up.
Unfortunately, the second attempt proved to be successful as the OP had to stop the car at a traffic light, allowing the motorcyclist to throw the rock from behind.
As a result, her car’s rear window was completely shattered and the front windscreen of her car suffered damage too.
Aftermath
Following the incident, the OP lodged a police report at the Taman Perling Police Station for the sake of her personal safety.
She also commented in the thread that she tried lodging a police report in Singapore as she believed the motorcyclist was a Singaporean but was unable to do so as she didn’t have a SingPass.
The OP also apologised to other road users who witnessed the entire incident unfold.

Needless to say, netizens were shocked by the incident and called for the motorcyclist to be arrested by the relevant authorities.
‘This is attempted murder by throwing the rock.’
‘Imagine if there’s a kid at the backseat…oh my God, I cannot imagine the level of bleeding that will result from it. (The motorcyclist) is so uncouth.’
Meanwhile, some tagged the Singaporean police force and urged them to take stern action against the motorcyclist.
