A staff member from the Treasury Office at the Ministry of Finance Malaysia was discovered dead on the office floor earlier today.
The victim was reportedly found lying motionless on the floor, with his neck and legs entangled in a cable tie.

Victim found unconscious on the office floor
According to Kuala Lumpur Police Chief, Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa, authorities received a report about an unconscious man lying inside the Treasury Office at the Ministry of Finance in Putrajaya.
The report was made via an MERS 999 emergency call from a member of the public at 10.56am.
Following the report, a team from the Putrajaya District Police Headquarters (IPD) was dispatched to the scene.
Reported by Harian Metro, upon arrival, officers found the victim lying motionless on the floor with his neck and legs entangled in a cable tie.
No criminal elements found
Preliminary investigations confirmed that the deceased was a 45-year-old employee of the department. However, police found no signs of foul play at the scene.
The case has been classified as a sudden death report (SDR), and the body has been sent to the Forensic and Pathology Department at Hospital Putrajaya for a post-mortem examination,” said Datuk Rusdi in an official statement.
Authorities have urged the public to refrain from making any speculations regarding the incident.
