The 15 second clip shows a male student dressed in white school pants lying on the grass at a public field.
A female student in a headscarf and full school uniform is seen bending over him while appearing to talk. The angle of the recording made it look like the pair were behaving inappropriately.
The video quickly made its rounds online, drawing a flood of reactions.
Netizens claim behaviour looks improper in public space
Many commenters urged the authorities to take action, saying such conduct should not happen in an open public area.
Others pointed out that the angle may be misleading and called for Malaysians to wait for full context before judging the students.
