Media Selangor Sdn Bhd, via its Revenue Generation Cluster, launched a special campaign called ‘SAMA’ today, an initiative centred on ground activations aimed at strengthening strategic collaboration with vendors and clients through a series of roadshows across the state.

The SAMA campaign will be implemented through district and community roadshows, visits to higher learning institutions and schools, and an interactive, inclusive, high-impact approach for local communities, including state government programmes and initiatives.
Among its planned ground-activation components are approaches based on knowledge sharing, skills development, and comprehensive community engagement, with a focus on the community’s real needs.
SAMA is not limited solely to sales and marketing activities for products or services. Instead, it has been expanded to include organising beauty and health workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, practical demonstrations, entrepreneurship workshops, and community awareness programmes related to social issues, public health, and community well-being.
The campaign also creates opportunities to implement public service announcements, corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, community programmes such as gotong-royong (community clean-up activities), and various academic and educational initiatives that empower and enhance the skills of targeted communities.

Media Selangor’s Revenue Generation Cluster head Nursuziana Zulkifli said that through SAMA, the company will serve as a strategic connector between clients, industry partners, and the community, aiming to deliver values, skills, techniques, and useful information directly to the community, while simultaneously fostering two-way relationships among all parties involved.
Simultaneously, SAMA’s implementation reflects Media Selangor’s evolution as a media organisation that has grown into a diversified business entity, encompassing expertise in event management, seminar organisation, communication campaign management and crisis management, in line with current industry needs and the evolving communications landscape.
She said that the campaign is a strategic approach which combines the strengths of communication, ground engagement, and industry collaboration.
SAMA is not merely a ground activation initiative, but a strategic platform that reflects Media Selangor’s capability as a comprehensive collaboration partner for clients and vendors.
“This initiative is aligned with Media Selangor’s direction as it continues to evolve into a diversified business-oriented media organisation, encompassing event management, seminars, campaigns and strategic communication support, including crisis management,” Nursuziana said.
The SAMA launch ceremony was held in conjunction with the Media Selangor Townhall session and was officiated by its chief executive officer Mohamed Fareed Mohamed Ashaaree.

The event served as an initial platform to introduce the campaign to the public, particularly to potential vendors interested in participating directly in upcoming roadshows.
Meanwhile, the invitation extended to vendors to attend the session was an early step towards opening avenues for strategic collaboration and encouraging active participation in ensuring the campaign’s future success.
SAMA is expected to become an ongoing platform that not only brings together vendors, clients and communities, but also strengthens Media Selangor’s role as a catalyst for collaboration that delivers mutual benefits, in line with the state’s aspirations for economic and social development.
