Drivers along Jalan Timur-Barat in Gerik, Perak recently found themselves in a jam for over an hour after two elephants decided to have a moment together right in the middle of the road.
Elephant-sized drama unfolding
In a viral TikTok video, the two elephants can be seen standing face to face on the road, completely blocking both lanes.
At one point, one elephant even turns its head slightly away, prompting netizens to joke that it was sulking.
Some drivers got out of their vehicles to film the scene, clearly both amused and helpless. The elephants didn’t seem bothered at all by the traffic buildup or the attention.
“Dating until dark”
The person who shared the video joked that the elephants were on a date and weren’t done even as the sky turned dark.
