A Malaysia Airlines flight bound for Japan was forced to return to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) approximately 1 hour and 38 minutes after takeoff on Monday night (March 25).
Malaysia Airlines flight MH88, an Airbus A330, departed KLIA at 11.35 pm en route to Narita International Airport in Japan.
Returned to KLIA after flying for 1 hour 38 minutes
The flight was expected to take around 6 hours and 40 minutes. However, according to flight tracking website FlightRadar24, the aircraft reversed course and returned to KLIA.

Based on the flight path data, the plane turned back after flying for about 1 hour and 38 minutes.

While the airline has yet to release an official statement, some social media users in the “True Malaysia Airlines Fans Group” on Facebook claimed that the aircraft returned due to flight control issues.
Malaysia Airlines has yet to respond regarding the incident. No injuries or further disruptions have been reported.
