Diners at a fast-food outlet in Banting, Selangor were left shellshocked after a man was gunned down before their eyes.
According to Malay Mail, the shooting occurred at around 10pm when the victim was having a meal inside the restaurant.
Aftermath of shooting
Several clips of the shooting were shared widely on social media, where it showed the victim against the outer wall of the restaurant while injured, with visible bloodstains seen splattered on it.
One also showed two bullet casings that were found on the ground not long after the shooting occurred.

Unfortunately, the victim didn’t survive and succumbed to his injuries.
Suspect still at large
Police and the Royal Malaysia Police K9 unit eventually turned up at the scene and promptly cordoned off the area.
Also present at the scene were Selangor Criminal Investigation Department chief Senior Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Hatta Che Din and Kuala Langat district police chief Superintendent Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi.

The suspect is believed to have fled the scene on a motorcycle and is now being hunted down by police.
An official statement is expected to be released by police soon.
While shootings are rare in Malaysia, it has done little to soothe the nerves of many, who have seen a string of shootings take place.
