A man was killed in a gruesome manner in a freak accident which saw a Honda City crashing into the rear of a parked lorry in Kulai, Johor.
According to reports by Sinar Harian and Berita Harian, the accident took place at Taman Permata Impian, Jalan Felda Taib Andak on Saturday (Sept 20).

Operations Commander, Senior Fire Superintendent II (KUP) Mohd Firdaus Juritah from the Kulai Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) said an emergency call was made at around 10.36pm.
Upon receiving the call, eight firefighters, a Fire Rescue Tender (FRT) and an Emergency Medical Services (EMRS) unit were dispatched to the scene, which was located approximately six kilometres away.

“Upon arriving at 10.43pm, firefighters found that the accident involved a Honda City and a five-tonne Hino lorry that was parked by the roadside.
“The Honda City driver was injured and was successfully extricated by members of the public before firefighters arrived at the scene.
As for the front seat passenger, he was pronounced dead at the scene as he had lost his head in the accident.”
Mohd Firdaus added that the victim’s body was handed over to the police for further action.
The operation was brought under control at 11.10pm before getting wrapped up at 11.20pm.
