Had burst blood vessel in brain
The shocking incident was shared by an intensive care unit (ICU) nurse on Instagram named Lin Ting.
According to her, the victim, a college student, became addicted to online games during his winter break and gamed non-stop for four days and three nights without sleeping.

His mother tried several times to stop him but to no avail.
When the victim went to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, he suddenly let out a loud scream and collapsed.
He was then rushed to the hospital and immediately went for surgery, where doctors discovered he was suffering from massive internal bleeding as a blood vessel in his brain had burst.
Taken off life support
The victim was then placed on life support and administered medication to raise his blood pressure.

His family, unable to see him suffer another day longer, eventually decided to remove his life support.
Relatives and classmates of the victim were invited by the hospital to bid their final farewells to him, while his mother wept and kept calling out his name, reported Sin Chew Daily.
Following a few extra minutes given by the doctors and nurses, the victim’s family finally asked for the tubes to be removed.
In the clip, Lin added that factors such as overworking and excessive drinking and can cause damage to cerebral blood vessels without knowing.
