A man wearing a Spiderman costume was injured after falling about 20 metres while hiking at Bukit Dinding in Kuala Lumpur on Jan 30.
The incident happened at around 5pm, when the man is believed to have slipped and fallen at a steep slope with an incline of about 75 degrees.
According to a Facebook post by Kuala Lumpur’s Pertahanan Awam, Pusat Kawalan Operasi Daerah Kuala Lumpur received a report about the incident at 5.02pm.
Following the report, two rescue teams including emergency medical services were dispatched to the location, according to Sinar Harian.
The first rescue vehicle arrived at 5.44pm, and the rescue operation began shortly after at 5.54pm.
Rescuers had to hike nearly one kilometre along the trail before moving about 70 metres off the trail to reach the victim.

Preliminary findings found that the man had fallen from a height of about 20 metres at the steep slope.
When found, the man complained of pain in his back and legs.
The man was successfully brought down to a safe area and handed over to emergency medical services for initial treatment.
He was later sent to Hospital Kuala Lumpur and placed in Resuscitation Zone 2 for further treatment.
The rescue operation was fully concluded at 6.20pm.
