Students who were attending a seminar at a private university in KL had the shock of their lives after one of the attendees was caught pleasuring himself.
Not long after his act was brought to light, police stepped in and arrested the man.
Kicked out of hall for masturbating
In a clip that has been circulating wildly on social media, it showed the man slowly standing up to his feet and putting his pants back on as students watched on in stunned silence.
After zipping his pants, the man was ushered out of the lecture hall by a teacher, who watched up him closely and ensured that he was booted out from the hall.
According to a netizen, the man had entered the auditorium with the students to attend the seminar, which involved two secondary schools.
About 40 minutes into the seminar, the man allegedly began masturbating and this traumitised a girl seated next to him, who broke down in tears.
The ordeal was eventually brought to an end when a teacher intervened and ushered the man out.
Uni’s reponse
The university’s chief operating officer later told FMT that police were immediately contacted following the incident, leading to the man’s arrest.
An investigation by police later found that the man was suffering from mental issues and had no ties to the university.
The chief operating officer also said the seminar wasn’t organised by the university but by several schools that had rented its hall.
An internal probe is now underway to determine how the man managed to slip into the hall.
