A family of three allegedly took approximately RM345 (S$100.70) worth of Labubu dolls from a claw machine store, Dr. Clawtopus, on the fourth floor of Sim Lim Square, Singapore.
The incident happened on Oct. 27, 2024, around 5pm, leaving the store owner appealing for the safe return of the stolen toys.
According to CCTV footage shared by the owner with Mothership, a man accompanied by a child and another adult can be seen tampering with a claw machine.
According to the owner, the adult broke the lock on the machine and took three Labubu dolls: a Halloween Labubu worth about RM130 (S$37.90), a Pronounce Labubu valued at RM130 (S$37.90), and a “Have a Seat” Labubu priced at RM85 (S$24.90).

Footage from the store allegedly shows the man and children attempting to open the machine, with the man reaching inside and pushing a Labubu doll into the toy retrieval slot.
The owner said he did not mean to publicly shame the family. He expressed his main wish: for the dolls to be returned in good condition.
Owner just want the dolls to be returned
The store lodged a police report on Oct. 28, 2024. The Singapore Police Force confirmed that the report has been received, and investigations are ongoing.
The owner stated stated that if the dolls are returned without damage, he would not take further action.
