In a 9-second clip shared by @anysadybah on TikTok, it showed a mamak worker getting down and dirty by dipping his hand into a rubbish bin laden with discarded food waste.
In the caption, the OP praised the worker for being willing to do such an unpleasant job in an attempt to recover her retainers.
She later revealed in the comment thread that she had wrapped her retainers with a piece of tissue and accidentally threw it away as she had forgotten the retainers were inside.
As it would cost her a bomb to make a new pair of retainers, the OP had no choice but to ask the worker’s help in rummaging through the rubbish bin to find it. Alas, the search turned up empty.
