During a site visit, a staff member confirmed that Malaysian Food Street will close on Feb 16.

Some employees will be reassigned to other eateries within RWS, including Universal Studios Singapore (USS) restaurants.

Malaysian Food Street’s legacy

Opened in 2012, Malaysian Food Street is known for its authentic Malaysian street food, featuring dishes from over 200 famous vendors across Malacca, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Ipoh. With 19 stalls, it has long been a favorite dining spot for both locals and tourists.

RWS has confirmed to China Press that the closure is part of a major dining revamp, with a new restaurant concept set to replace the Malaysian Food Street.

RWS also announced that alongside the recent launch of Sugarra and KA-MON, more exciting dining options will be introduced this year, providing visitors with a refreshed culinary experience.
