SINGAPORE – Earlier today, Singaporean artist and online fish seller Wang Lei, better known as “Mai Yu Ge” or “Fishmonger King”, shared a teeth-shattering incident that happened after his Facebook live show.
According to his post, he revealed that a viewer asked him to bite a lobster head during the show, and in return, he/she would purchase a lobster from him.
Without hesitating, Wang Lei quickly picked up a lobster head and was about to sink his teeth into it when his assistant tried dissuading him from doing so as it could damage his teeth. However, Wang Lei waved her off and successfully bit off a tiny part of the lobster head. After his first successful attempt, Wang Lei decided to give it another go.
It later turned out that it was a bit too much for his teeth to handle as he had to pay a visit to the dentist for toothache after the live session.
In the comment section, he jokingly posted a superimposed photo of him wearing a pair of vampire fangs.
“Lim Beh (meaning “me/I” in Hokkien) already asked the doctor to change to this kind of teeth.”
His post has so far garnered a total of 15k likes and over 900 shares at the time of writing, with many expressing their respect for his dedication in fulfilling viewers’ sometimes absurd requests during his live shows.
