SHAH ALAM – Independent badminton player Lee Zii Jia has officially appointed Indra Wijaya as his coach following the establishment of his own badminton club.

The news was unveiled by Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Ti Lian Ker on Facebook.
Thank you sports commissioner Ibrahim Yusuf for approving the formation of the Lee Zii Jia Badminton Club.
He also added that the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) is “ready” to hand Indra over to Zii Jia to prepare the latter for his All-England title defence from March 16-20.
The Indonesian-born coach’s contract with BAM as national women’s singles coach is set to end on March 31.
Zii Jia will face Singapore’s Loh Kean Yew in the first men’s singles match today (Feb 16) at the Badminton Asia Team Championships (BATC).
