A tragic incident unfolded when a KTM Komuter train collided with a group of trespassers on the Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) line between Teluk Pulai and Klang.
The collision resulted in one fatality and left four others with minor injuries.

According to NST, KTMB revealed that Komuter Train No. 2110, which departed from Jalan Kastam Station at 6.39am carrying approximately 200 passengers, was forced to halt after the collision at kilometre 34.734 of the railway line.
Injured transported for treatment
The injured trespassers were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention, while the train passengers were escorted to Klang Station.
KTMB staff, alongside Auxiliary Police officers, assisted passengers in boarding shuttle buses provided at Klang Station to continue their journey to Subang Jaya Station.
Following the collision, one individual was confirmed dead at the scene, while four others sustained minor injuries and were sent for further treatment. Authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the matter,” KTMB stated.
Train damage & service delays

The train involved in the collision suffered damage, causing delays of over 60 minutes.
To address the disruption, a relief locomotive was dispatched to tow the affected train, enabling the removal of the deceased and the resumption of normal train operations.
Passengers affected by the delays were also provided with complimentary shuttle bus services to Subang Jaya Station, ensuring they could reach their destinations without further inconvenience.
KTMB Chief Operating Officer, Mohd Zain Mat Taha, emphasised that railway tracks are restricted areas and warned against trespassing.
Under Section 126 of the Land Public Transport Act 2010, individuals found trespassing on railway tracks can face fines of up to RM500.
We urge the public to respect the safety regulations in place and avoid accessing restricted areas, as such actions pose significant risks to both themselves and train operations,” he said.
