A lion at Zoo Negara has captured hearts online after it was caught snoozing on its back like a giant house cat, completely unfazed by the blazing heat.
The video, posted by TikTok user @lololongs1301, quickly went viral for showing the usually fierce animal in a surprisingly adorable state.

In the short clip, the lion can be seen sprawled out on its back under the sun, legs up and fast asleep — clearly enjoying a deep, midday “power nap.”
Speaking exclusively to WeirdKaya, the OP said the video was taken on Monday (July 14) at around noon, shortly after the zoo’s scheduled animal show.
He shared that at the time, visitors could hear nearby tigers roaring intensely, which made the moment even more amusing.
It was really funny and cute.”
The contrast between the fierce-sounding tigers and the sleeping lion made the whole scene unexpectedly wholesome, he added.
Sometimes, it’s the quiet, unexpected moments in nature that leave the biggest impression.
Whether fierce or fluffy, even the king of the jungle needs a break and this lion definitely knew how to take one in style.
