A young boy recently went viral after his heartwarming encounter at a sneaker store was shared on TikTok.

Touched by the boy’s sincerity and effort, the owner asked more about his story and found out the boy had been patiently saving up just to afford this pair of shoes.

That’s when the owner made a snap decision: he told the boy he would give the shoes to him for free.

Shoes given for free

The boy was visibly stunned and asked, “Really?” with wide eyes and a face full of disbelief.

Even then, he didn’t want to take advantage and insisted, “No need lah, just discount RM10 can already.”

But the owner stood firm. He gave the shoes to the boy for free and even returned the money the boy had paid.

The TikTok clip has since melted hearts online, with netizens praising the boy for being responsible and the owner for his generosity.
