A food delivery rider’s act of kindness has touched netizens after he helped a woman retrieve her lost keys without expecting anything in return.
Went the extra mile to help
According to the video posted on Facebook, the woman (who goes by the name Joy Cheng) had forgotten her keys and needed to walk about 10 minutes to retrieve them.

A delivery rider had just dropped off a food order when she approached him for help.
At first, she asked if he could help her get the keys, but since he didn’t know where they were, he left briefly – but returned and offered her a ride himself.
Left his job briefly to lend a hand
In the video, the rider is seen carefully placing his delivery bag on the ground before letting Joy hop on his motorcycle, then drove her to where her keys were located.

She shared that she initially wanted to tip the rider as a token of appreciation, but he politely declined the money.
‘RM5 not worth it, just helping out’
Joy said the rider told her that if he were charging RM5 for the ride, it wouldn’t be worth it.
Instead, he simply wanted to help someone in need.

Joy thanked the rider repeatedly at the end of the video and wished him many orders and good tips in the future.
Netizens praised kind act
Many online users praised the rider for his kind-heartedness.
‘Great experience 👍 The GrabFood rider was very warm and helpful 🙏’

‘May Abang Grab be blessed with abundant sustenance.’

One commenter wrote that people from different ethnic groups in Malaysia often show great willingness to help in times of need, especially during emergencies like road accidents.
‘Actually, people from other ethnic groups are really eager to help. If there’s a car accident, they’re the first to come down and assist.’
