To mark this special moment, they’re rolling out an exciting Legasi Kara Sempurnakan Raya campaign filled with limited-edition designs, community events, and some seriously amazing contests.
Kara’s Journey, A True Malaysian Favourite
Since 1999, Kara has been the go-to brand for cholesterol-free, preservative-free coconut cream, and it has become a key ingredient in kitchens across Malaysia. Now, to celebrate this incredible 25-year journey, they’ve launched a limited-edition batik-inspired packaging that honours Malaysia’s cultural heritage while symbolising the connection between the past, present, and future generations.

But it’s not just about celebrating—Kara is also making a real impact in the community. As part of Program Amal Legasi Kara Sempurnakan Ramadan, Kara recently set a new record in the Malaysia Book of Records with a bubur lambuk giveaway like no other.
Held at the Dang Wangi District Police headquarters, the Majlis Pengagihan Bubur Lambuk Kara brought together Kara, UtusanTV, the Dang Wangi district police, celebrity chef Datuk Ismail, and Petron in a beautiful show of generosity and unity.
This meaningful initiative is one of two heartwarming events under Program Amal Legasi Kara Sempurnakan Ramadan, all in support of the broader Legasi Kara Sempurnakan Raya campaign.
Together, they served up 3,000 portions of bubur lambuk to 25 welfare homes and the surrounding community, all in just one day.
In celebration of Kara’s 25th anniversary, the brand continued its mission of giving back by extending heartfelt contributions to several welfare homes. Through this meaningful effort, a total of RM12,500 was donated to support these organisations in their day-to-day needs.
This charitable gesture is yet another highlight under the Program Amal Legasi Kara Sempurnakan Ramadan.
And if that wasn’t enough, the evening was topped off with a heartwarming iftar session at Restoran Rebung in Kuala Lumpur, where orphans from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Asnaf Al Barakh were treated to a delicious meal prepared with Kara coconut cream. It was a truly meaningful evening, filled with love, togetherness, and a lot of good food.
