A video of a husky looking hilariously unamused during its own birthday celebration has gone viral on social media and honestly, we’ve never seen a dog look more done with life.
In the now-viral clip shared on the TikTok account @novakiarathefurryhuskies, the birthday boy can be seen sitting motionless as others around him sing the birthday song, completely ignoring the festive mood.
No tail wags. No excitement. Just pure “Can we wrap this up?” energy.
Not grumpy, just sleepy
Speaking exclusively to WeirdKaya, the husky’s owner shared that the celebration took place on June 29.
He wasn’t upset, just really sleepy. The celebration took place right in the middle of his usual nap time, and he had to be woken up for it.
Still groggy and clearly not in the mood, he stayed completely still, looking like he’d rather be anywhere else than at his own party.
Well, we get it. No one likes being woken up, not even for cake and celebrations.
The husky’s sleepy yet dramatic reaction has melted hearts (and sparked giggles) across social media.
Looks like even dogs have their “I just want to go back to bed” moments.
