Slaying the Malaysian way 🇲🇾
A school in Johor went viral on social media after students showcased creative outfits made from recycled materials during a Merdeka fashion show.

The event, held at SK Taman Mutiara Rini 2 in Skudai, Johor, saw students confidently walking the runway in costumes designed for Malaysia’s upcoming Independence Day.

Made from plastic, paper and food packaging

According to the video shared on TikTok, all the outfits were crafted using recyclable items such as plastic, paper and cardboard.

The event also served as a platform to appreciate both the students’ and parents’ efforts in bringing the eco-themed designs to life.

Praise from netizens

Many netizens were in awe of the various designs and commended the students for their creativity.
