A student from a private Chinese independent school in southern Johor fell from a building earlier this morning.
According to Sin Chew Daily, the injured student was immediately sent to a nearby hospital for treatment and is reported to be in stable condition.
Authorities have yet to confirm the student’s identity or the cause behind the incident.
Police investigate the cause of fall
Witnesses at the scene revealed to China Press that the student appeared to have sustained leg injuries after the fall.
An ambulance arrived promptly, and the student was transported for medical care.
Police from the Kulai District Headquarters arrived at the school around 10.20am to begin their investigation.
Investigation ongoing
According to Guang Ming Daily, Kulai District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Tan Seng Lee confirmed the incident and said investigations are ongoing to determine whether the fall was accidental or deliberate.
He noted that no criminal reports have been filed regarding the case at this time.
However, police have initiated their own investigation and will release an official statement once findings are complete.
