A man from Johor won a whopping RM13,166,042 after 20 long years of betting on car plate numbers.
According to The Sun Daily, his interest in betting was first ignited upon getting his first car from his parents, where it nurtured a habit of observing car plate numbers.
As the years went by, the man would then make and place bets on combinations based on numbers that “stood out” or were visually appealing to him without second thoughts.
On Mar 14, his strategy and persistence would eventually pay off handsomely in the form of him walking away with millions of Ringgit, all thanks to a System Play-08 bet of RM56 on the numbers 9955 and 3226.
Meanwhile, two other individuals also won tons of money, with a man from Masai, Johor winning RM3,495,032 on Mar 18, and a woman from Subang Jaya, Selangor winning RM3,107,049 on Mar 22.
The woman said she got the winning numbers from specific numbers she observed on paper offerings, including a car plate number during a ritual to relocate her husband’s grandfather’s burial plot.
After 10 years of betting on the numbers, she finally won the money and added that it came at a perfect time as her husband had recently gone under the knife and was looking to retire.
