An Indonesian influencer known for his daring videos featuring interactions with snakes shocked fans after a recent clip showed him being bitten in a particularly sensitive area.
In the video posted on Instagram, which has since gone viral, the influencer, Anggara Shoji, was seen struggling in pain as a venomous snake refused to let go of his genital area.
He currently boasts over 360,000 followers on Instagram and is famed for his adventurous content with venomous reptiles.
Snake refused to let go
In the viral footage, the snake is seen tightly latched onto his groin while Shoji trying to get it off.
Despite his desperate efforts, the snake wouldn’t release its grip. Shoji, drenched in sweat and visibly in agony, ultimately collapsed to the ground, unable to free himself from the snake’s bite.
The snake in question was identified as a banded krait, a venomous species commonly found in Southeast Asian forests. While the banded krait can grow up to 2.4 meters in length, its venom is considered relatively mild and rarely fatal.
Shoji continued uploading videos after the incident, seemingly not too severely injured.
