You’d think that majority of students would see school as a place to learn and gain knowledge before they step into the real world upon graduation. However, not all of them feel the same.
This was certainly the case for a teenage student, who was recently filmed being brutally honest about his real intention in attending classes.
‘I’m here to see my girlfriend!’
In a brief 11-second video posted on Facebook by Buletin Malaysia, it showed the student being confronted by a teacher, who was filming their exchange.

In the clip, he is seen gesturing rather aggressively at the teacher while revealing the real reason why he turns up for classes in the first place:
I come to school is because I want to see my girlfriend!”
When the teacher asked the student whether he meant it when he said he comes to school just to see his girlfriend and not to learn, the teen answered in the affirmative while trying to act ‘cool’ by leaning back on the chair and draping an arm over it.

The teen could also be heard taunting the teacher by daring her to expel him from school, saying, ‘Buang sekolah ke, boleh je buang.’ (Just expel me. It’s fine)
However, it’s not known what had transpired beforehand, which led to the rather heated exchange.
Netizens condemn teen’s behaviour
Regardless, netizens weren’t having any of the teen’s insolent and rude behaviour and called him out for it.
‘(He’s) talking so rudely to the teacher. Hopefully his parents see this video.’

‘How dare he talk to the teacher like that? Back when I was in school, a slap would be given and I’d straight forget my girlfriend’s name.’

Meanwhile, some joked that the student had probably watched too many Tamil movies.
