A video showing a man aggressively confronting a disabled beggar at a market in Bentong has sparked outrage among netizens.
In the clip, the man can be heard speaking in Cantonese laced with vulgarities as he questioned the beggar about his background and reasons for begging.
“Why are you begging here?”
Where are you from? Why are you begging here? Can’t you work? Why don’t you sell lottery tickets instead?” The man ask.
At one point, he even kicked at the disabled man with his foot while continuing to berate him.

The beggar, who appeared to be physically disabled and missing both legs, refused to show his face and kept covering it with his arms. Clearly distressed, he responded,
What does this have to do with you? What do you want?”
“I’ll knock you out with just one kick!”
The confrontation escalated further when the man filming threatened violence, saying,
Do you believe I can knock you out with just one kick?”
He later uploaded the footage online with the caption: “Throwing away the dignity of Chinese people.”
Netizens’ comment
The video has since circulated across local community pages, where netizens condemned the man’s actions and expressed sympathy for the disabled beggar.
“This kind of bullying should be dealt with strictly. It must not be allowed to continue.”

“His (the bully’s) parents never educate him. Hopefully one day he suffers the same fate, only then will he understand other people’s pain.”

“So pitiful. Even giving him RM2 would have been fine, why did you have to treat him like this? You should be asking why he’s forced to beg for food.”
