I’ve always had a love for reptiles and animals in general. At one point, I even had over 40 pets at home, but now I focus on caring for four rescued cats and a bird.”

During the Movement Control Order (MCO) amid the Covid-19 pandemic, Francis took it upon himself to help those who were struggling to get by. Despite having no income and battling depression, he chose to support small businesses so they wouldn’t have to suffer alone.
He posted on Facebook, proposing to purchase 100 packs of food from 20 local stores to distribute to the homeless and underprivileged.
What began as a small fundraising goal of RM14,000 quickly turned into something much larger. Within 24 hours, the post had raised the full amount. The momentum continued, and within a week, the campaign had gone viral, eventually raising RM60,000.
With this generous donation, Francis was able to purchase 12,000 to 14,000 food packs, feeding more than 10,000 people in need.
