Khairul Aming breaks his silence on the prices
In an exclusive interview with WeirdKaya, Khairul Aming addressed these assumptions directly, shedding light on how Rembayung’s food prices were set and whether the restaurant is really as expensive as people think.

When mentioned it was going to be expensive, everyone assumed it was going to be very expensive.
Khairul Aming shared that when Rembayung was first described as “expensive,” many immediately assumed it meant very high prices.

“I want to welcome everyone”
Long before the restaurant officially opened or its menu was revealed, many had already assumed Rembayung’s prices would be high. Khairul Aming explained that this perception was not entirely accurate, adding that affordability had always been considered in shaping the restaurant’s pricing.
My intention in opening Rembayung was to welcome everyone. I wanted the food to be affordable while maintaining a good portion, plating, ambience.

He added that striking this balance was important to him, as he wanted Rembayung to feel accessible without compromising on quality or the overall dining experience.
