Friendship isn’t just about being there for each other—it’s about lifting each other up, literally.
Recently, a viral video captured a touching moment of a Malaysian Indian student carrying his injured Malay friend up a flight of stairs, showcasing a heartwarming act of kindness and friendship.

The clip, shared on the TikTok page @sppkksl, quickly grabbed the attention of netizens, with many praising the student’s selflessness.
The story behind the viral clip
Speaking exclusively to WeirdKaya, the student’s lecturer Nurulhuda shared what happened behind the scenes.
She revealed that the students were on their way to the library, which was located on the second floor.
However, Ammar couldn’t climb the stairs due to a broken leg. Without hesitation, his classmate and close friend, Larvinraj, immediately offered to carry him.
I asked, ‘Are you sure, Larvinraj?’ and he confidently replied, ‘I can do it, ma’am.’”

Then she followed behind them, worried he might fall.
A friendship worth admiring
Both students are in their second semester, pursuing a Business Operations certificate at Kolej Komuniti Selandar, Melaka.
The lecturer added that the college instils strong values of cooperation and friendship among students.
Interestingly, the video was recorded by one of their classmates without the lecturer’s knowledge.
Later, I asked them to share it with me because I felt it was such a meaningful moment. I posted it so that everyone could see what true friendship looks like,” she shared.
It’s safe to say that this duo has set a beautiful example of what it truly means to be a friend.
