Have you ever found yourself convinced that you were supposed to do something on a certain date, only to realise you had the day all wrong?
Well, you’re not alone—this individual almost encountered this situation as well.
A Malaysian woman recently shared a hilarious encounter on her Instagram story that many of us can probably relate to.
While on an e-hailing ride, she noticed something odd about the car’s radio display. The date and day were all wrong, making her do a double-take.
The screen displayed Friday, 26th March 2010, at 3.58am. Initially, she didn’t even notice the date, as her attention was immediately drawn to the day at first glance.
For a moment, she genuinely thought she had missed a whole event she was supposed to attend.
In the video, she jokingly captioned, “How do I tell him we’re living in 2024?” along with another cheeky note, “For a moment, I thought it was really Friday.”

Speaking exclusively to WeirdKaya, she revealed that she was actually on her way to an event she knew was happening on a Thursday.
But when she saw the radio display in the car, she was momentarily thrown off. Could she have missed the event? Was she in a time warp?
Quickly, she double-checked her phone and was relieved to find that she was indeed on the right date. The car’s display was just completely off.
Curious, we asked if she mentioned the mix-up to the driver. She admitted she didn’t want to seem overly concerned.
“After all, what if he had just serviced his car and forgot to reset the system?” she told us.
