Three Malls, Three Flavours of Fun
From the friendly neighbourhood vibes of Klippa in Batu Kawan to the “just right” mix of shopping and leisure at IPC in Damansara, and the big, activity-packed energy of Toppen in Johor Bahru, each mall brings its own unique way to make Merdeka a day to remember.
This Merdeka, all three are rolling out the red carpet for little patriots and their loved ones.
Klippa: Where Kids Lead the Adventure
At Klippa, the festivities are designed with children at the heart of it all. Step inside and you will be greeted by colourful decorations and picture-perfect Merdeka corners from 18 August till 16 September 2025.
Young explorers can pick up a Merdeka Kids Passport and earn stamps when a purchase is made at participating outlets.Once their passport is complete, they’ll earn a ride on the Merdeka Kids Adventure Track as a special reward.
Kids can also unleash their creativity in the Colouring Contest and join hands-on workshops like sand art and keychain colouring activities that are open to all shoppers.
And don’t miss the Merdeka Kids Lucky Ball Draw, where every RM50 spent in a single receipt at participating outlets gives shoppers the chance to win exciting vouchers!
IPC: Small Patriots, Big Memories
Over at IPC, weekends and public holidays will be filled with the sound of happy chatter and the sight of little ones proudly waving their creations. From 4 August to 21 September 2025, everyone’s invited to enjoy all sorts of exciting Merdeka events at IPC, fun, freedom of choice, and discovery for the whole family!
The Små Patriots Craft and Parade lets kids make their own Merdeka-themed crafts before marching through the centre with their friends.
Members of the Små Club can book their spots through the IPC App and take home freebies such as patriotic keepsakes and a Malaysia flag on selected dates with parents’ spending.
Parents can join in the fun too. Shoppers who spend RM200 in two receipts will receive a RM10 IPC e-voucher, while those who spend RM500 in three receipts will get a RM30 IPC e-voucher.
The first 68 Tack Club members of each day who shout “Merdeka” or “I Love Malaysia” three times on 30 Aug-1 Sep and 15-16 Sep, between 11am-2pm or 5pm-8pm, will also be treated to free IKEA soft serve.
Beyond the festivities, IPC offers everything to make a family outing easy, from stroller rentals to spacious parking, plus plenty of dining and entertainment to keep everyone happy.
Toppen Merdeka Kids Adventure : Play, Slash & Save!
Down south in Johor Bahru, Toppen is turning into a playground for kids and families from 14 – 31 August 2025. Children can take part in free, interactive activities that spark creativity and teamwork.
Complete the challenges and they will be rewarded with Toppen Plushies. With Toppen’s mix of popular retail brands, tasty dining spots and family entertainment spaces, it is the perfect place to spend a whole day making memories.
