Here’s A List Of Schools Ordered To Conduct Home-Based Learning For ASEAN Summit From May 26-28

Parents, please take note.
The Ministry of Education (MOE) has officially confirmed that 71 schools in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor will conduct home-based teaching and learning (PdPR) for three days, from May 26 to May 28, 2025, in conjunction with the 46th ASEAN Summit.

Schools given permission for PdPR

In its statement, MOE said the affected schools were identified based on anticipated road closures and heightened security controls during the summit, which could affect access to school premises.

This temporary shift to PdPR is aimed at ensuring that learning continues without interruption during the event.

The ministry advised parents, guardians, students, teachers, and school staff to stay updated through their respective school’s official communication channels for specific details on the PdPR arrangements.

Learning must go on, says ministry

Drawing from experience during the COVID-19 pandemic and other emergency scenarios, MOE expressed confidence that schools will be able to continue delivering lessons effectively while also prioritising the safety and wellbeing of all students and educators.
