Malaysian politician Yeo Bee Yin has announced the birth of her twin baby boys, sharing the news in a heartfelt social media post.
The twins were born on 14 March 2026 at 35 weeks.
Identical twins with shared placenta
In her post, Yeo revealed that the babies are Monochorionic Diamniotic (MCDA) twins, meaning they are identical twins who share one placenta but have separate amniotic sacs.

She described the pregnancy as more physically and emotionally challenging compared to her previous pregnancies.
Born healthy despite early arrival
Although the couple had hoped the babies would stay longer in the womb, the twins arrived earlier than expected.
However, Yeo shared that both babies were born healthy and that the pregnancy went smoothly without major complications.
Family grows to five boys
With the arrival of the twins, Yeo and her husband now have five sons in total.
She also expressed gratitude for the safe delivery and reflected on her journey throughout the pregnancy.
The announcement has since drawn attention online, with many congratulating the family on their newest additions.
