‘He Was Seduced’, Claims SG Man After 16yo Son Admitted He Spent RM3,300 At Massage Parlour

"My son's still in puberty and couldn't resist the temptation."
A Singaporean father was left fuming after he found that his teenage son had spent over S$1,000 (approx. RM3,300) at a massage parlour after accepting a friend request via WeChat.

Following his son’s admission, the man later lodged a police report over the matter.

Allegedly ‘seduced’ via WeChat

Speaking to Lianhe Zaobao, the man surnamed Chen (transliteration), said his 16-year-old son received a friend request on WeChat while he was playing sports at Block 101, Towner Road.

Not thinking twice, Chen’s son accepted the request and came in contact with a woman who identified herself as a masseuse offering “happy ending” services at a nearby shop.

Over time, the conversations began to take on a sexual nature, where the teen and the woman often spoke of sexual services and prices.

My son’s still in puberty and couldn’t resist the temptation. He visited that massage parlour that very day and got hooked,” recounted Chen.

As such, the teen couldn’t stay away from the massage parlour and found himself spending his entire monthly allowance of S$500 (approx. RM1,655) there.

He even spent his entire Chinese New Year angpao money, where his total spending came to over S$1,000.

When the teen approached Chen for more money, he became suspicious and asked the former where all his money went.

Initially, his son refused to answer, forcing Chen and his wife to look through his handphone, where they discovered the explicit messages. When Chen threatened to call the police on him, the teen cracked and confessed to everything.

Aside from his son, Chen also expressed deep anger towards the masseuse, stating, “Of course he (my son) did something wrong, but you are doing your (massage) business, how can you target teenagers?”

Local police later confirmed to Lianhe Zaobao that a report was lodged over the incident.
