For one lucky group of Malaysian primary school students, this became a reality thanks to the incredible generosity of the thoughtful parents of a student.
A video that went viral on TikTok, shared by the op @azra_deanna, captured the heartwarming moment when a class of students received brand-new New Balance shoes as gifts.
Thoughtful surprise for young students
The 36-seconds clip showed a teacher handing over a paper bag to one of her students, with instructions to take the shoes home and not open the bag at school to avoid misplacing them.
But the highlight of the day was when the teacher called up and introduced the woman behind the kind gesture, the mother of one of the students.
With wide smiles, the students cheered, “Thank you, Aunty! Thank you, Uncle! May you be blessed with abundance. Please pray for us to succeed and be good children.”
