Stay safe, mask up, and take care. 😷🦠
Thailand is seeing a sharp rise in flu cases, with over 107,000 infections and nine deaths reported so far in 2025, according to The Nation Thailand.

The flu has hit children the hardest, especially those aged five to nine years old, followed by kids under four and those between 10 and 14 years old. The most common strain spreading now is A/H1N1 (2009).

New cases are rising quickly, with about 15,000 new infections every week, a jump from 10,000 per week last year.

Health officials say the rise in cases is partly due to the easing of Covid-19 measures and prolonged cold weather, which has made more people sick.

They are urging schools to take stricter precautions and for parents to keep sick kids at home for at least three to five days to stop the spread.

Doctors recommend getting the flu vaccine every year, especially for high-risk groups like young children, pregnant women, elderly people, obese individuals, and those with chronic illnesses.

With flu cases rising fast, experts advise washing hands often, wearing masks in crowded places, and staying away from sick people.
