‘First Warning’ – M’sian Leaves Note & Damages Man’s Car Side Mirror After Parking At 3-Way Junction In Selangor PPR

There are better ways to handle parking problems than messing up someone’s car.
Parking disputes in densely populated areas are not just about finding a spot; they reflect deeper tensions within the community.

A recent incident in a Public Housing Project (PPR) in Selangor highlights the growing frustration among residents as a man’s car was vandalised, exposing the simmering conflicts over parking spaces.

One resident, newly moved in with his sister after his mother’s death, became the latest casualty in this parking saga.

“I’m not wealthy, just driving an old Kancil,” he lamented on social media.

“I’m staying with my sister after my mum passed away two weeks ago.”

“If I was wrong, perhaps they could have handled it differently, like informing me in the PPR WhatsApp group,” he proposed.

“My sister, brother-in-law, and village neighbours are in that WhatsApp group. What should I do? I used this car to take my mum to the hospital until she passed away.”

Desperate to find a spot, he parked his car at the side of a three-way junction, folding his side mirror and releasing the handbrake to avoid blocking traffic.

However, his considerate efforts backfired. Returning later, he found his car’s side mirror broken and a note that read, “Next time don’t park here if you care about your car. If others aren’t parking here, don’t be smart and park here. First warning.”

This “parking ticket” of sorts has ignited a fiery debate online. While many sympathise with the man and condemn the act of vandalism, others suggest his parking choice might have fuelled the neighbourhood’s parking fury.

Netizens shared their thoughts in the comments, offering mixed reactions.

Another added, “If that person is so bold, they should leave their name and address.”

A third chimed in, “Did you leave your phone number on the mirror? Report to the police if it’s a vandalism case like this.”
