A 19-year-old man weighing over 200kg was found dead in a dormitory in Bagan Datuk, prompting authorities to call in firefighters for assistance in removing the body.
China Press reported that the Perak Fire and Rescue Department Director Sayani Saidon said the department received a distress call at 9.56pm last night requesting help at an educational dormitory in Parit Buntar.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered the unresponsive body of the young man inside the dormitory. Due to the circumstances, police officers sought their assistance in transporting the deceased to the hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Firefighters worked together with family members to lift and move the body before handing it over to the police for further action,” Sayani stated.
Authorities have yet to disclose the cause of death, and investigations are ongoing.
