The Finance Ministry and MyKasih Foundation have issued an apology following difficulties faced by users of the Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) aid programme today.
The issue came after a surge in transactions on the first day of SARA disbursement, which led to delays in processing at MyKasih terminals due to overwhelming purchase volumes.

Although purchases are still possible, some retail outlets reported problems in processing payments because of the heavy system demand,“ it wrote.
MyKasih’s technical team is currently working to resolve the matter, and both parties expect the system to return to normal operations soon.
