A tourist from China lost her life in a fatal fall which took place at a hotel in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah on Saturday (Dec 7).
According to The Borneo Post, the victim, who was in her 30s and hailed from Beijing, reportedly fell from the 9th floor of the hotel and landed on top of a car parked at the ground floor.
She died at the scene following the fall.

Kota Kinabalu Deputy Police Chief Superintendent Syed Lot Syed Ab Rahman said police were alerted of the incident after receiving a call at around 7am.
He added initial checks confirmed that the victim had died, and further investigations are ongoing to uncover what caused the fall.
Husband grieves at scene of fall
In a clip circulating on social media, it showed a man, believed to be the victim’s husband, wailing and screaming “My wife!” in Mandarin as two bystanders consoled him.
An employee of the hotel later told Chinese media outlet Jimu News that the victim was on a holiday trip with her husband in Kota Kinabalu prior to the fall.
The victim’s body was sent to Queen Elizabeth I Hospital for further action and police have classified the case as sudden death (SDR).
