A heartbreaking plea has emerged online after a tragic accident in Kuchai Lama.
The family of a 26-year-old woman who tragically lost her life after being hit and allegedly dragged by a Rapid KL van in Kuchai Lama is now appealing to the public for help in obtaining dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident.
In an Instagram story, they are urging those who may have been in the area at the time to come forward with any footage that could shed light on what happened.
Those with dashcam or CCTV recordings are asked to contact @alvinchee1204 directly.
The accident reportedly took place last Sunday (Sept 14) at around 12.30pm along Jalan Kuchai Maju near Alliance Bank in Kuchai Lama.
Father seeks answers from Rapid KL
According to China Press, the victim’s father claimed that after the van hit his daughter, the driver failed to stop immediately despite witnesses shouting at him to do so.
Instead, the van allegedly continued moving, dragging her body for more than 10 meters before finally coming to a halt.
I want Rapid KL to give me an explanation.”
He added he was devastated by the loss of his only daughter and vowed to demand answers from Rapid KL after her funeral arrangements are completed.
