We often hear that small businesses are deeply affected by the pandemic, but it seems that mega franchisees are also facing the same issue. One of which is the F.O.S outlet store in Midvalley.
On Sunday(12 September), F.O.S announced that it has officially closed down its outlet in Mid Valley Megamall, citing the impacts of COVID-19 as the main factor.
22 Years In The Mall
In a Facebook post by F.O.S, the apparel company shared that the impact of COVID-19 had left them with no choice.
Firstly, it states:
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closure of our F.O.S. Store in Mid Valley Megamall after serving our customers for over 22 years.”
F.O.S added that they will continue to adapt and innovate to “serve their customer better” in the future.
Many Expressed Their Sadness Over F.O.S Midvalley Closure
In the comment section, netizens who used to shop at F.O.S Midvalley Megamall shared their sadness towards the closing of the outlet.
One netizen thanked the outlet for being one of her hangout spots since school days.
Even foreigner who resides in Malaysia loved the outlet.
Another netizen encouraged the outlet to hang tight, mentioning phase 2 and phase 3 of PPN might improve the economy.
At the end of the lengthy announcement, F.O.S thanked its customers for their support all these years, adding that they can still visit their other outlets in Klang Valley or shop online on Shopee or Lazada.
