‘Don’t Play Play’ – M’sian Shares Video Of Standstill Traffic At Genting

CNY jam is not messing around.
Genting is always one of Malaysians’ favorite spots due to its cool weather and pleasant temperature, and it gets even more crowded during the holiday season.

With the Chinese New Year holiday coming to an end, major roads leading down from Genting Highlands were severely congested as thousands of travelers made their way home.

Recently posted on Facebook, the video shows the scenic Genting Highlands covered in mist on Jan 31.

However, the roads were packed with a long line of stationary vehicles stretching for several kilometers, creating a stark contrast with the serene surroundings.

The video was simply captioned “No play play in Genting”, perfectly summing up the chaotic return journey experienced by many.

Netizens reaction

The footage quickly went viral on Facebook, sparking discussions among netizens. Many netizens commented that the traffic jam during CNY was insane, and they were glad they weren’t stuck in it.
